Poorly Painted Portrait: Steve Moore

Steve Moore (Hercules, Somnium, dr. Who)

For this particular portrait, I flew to London, and shared with Steve a most magical day, in which we walked the route as heard in Alan Moore’s essay “Unearthing”.

I have made a friend.

“Poorly Painted Portraits” is a series of personal and “Rock ‘n’ Roll” portraits. After a good conversation with the “subject” , we decide upon a theme and the photo’s are taken that evening at the spot. The artwork is rugged, sketchy and suggestive. Details are left out, the art is a reflection of the conversation and/ or the person and my token of grattitude.

The full series can be seen in my portfolio

Wow, this is really beautiful. I’m so happy to see Steve Moore getting some of the attention and artistic treatment he deserves (from someone other than Alan).

Thank you so much G. That means a lot. Steve has become a friend very dear to me. He truly is one of the kindest hearts on this planet.
